Based on what you have described and the info given on each horse, I would go with the buckskin. Explanation below

–Arab: The ad says nothing about being ridden english/jumping and is pretty small! You would probably outgrow her in a few years depending on how tall you are. It also concerns me about her grass founder incident. Are you ready to make sure she doesn’t have access to lush grass in the spring? A foundering horse can rack up the vet bills.

–Buckskin- I like her. Like someone said before, she is hanging her legs when she jumps, but to me, she is a little on the chunky side and could stand to lose some weight/gain muscle, which would help you while jumping. It would also be nice to have a horse that has some jumping experience…it is hard when horse/rider are learning together. From what I can tell, conformation is good. She just needs to lose some weight :)

–QH- Seems really green. You would need to hire a trainer or have someone assist you from the get-go. The hoof thing might cause problems in the future.

So I like the buckskin. Another plus is that she rides english and western, so she pretty much fits the description of what you are looking for. Make sure to try her out and bring an instructor or trainer. Who knows, maybe the girl will lower the price for you some.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

The Welsh/Arab’s picture is awful, and there’s zero information. The Fjord is overweight. There aren’t any great conformation shots. The QH x paint is 4. I’m guessing this would be your first horse, so not a good option.

All three are pretty bad. Keep looking.

I would go with the paint cross if I was you! good price, and looks nice, think the buskin look v over priced and the arab looks like it hasn’t got great conformation.
Just my opinion :) have fun with whichever one you choose :)

Personally, I like the Paint/Quarter Pony, just because I am a HUGE fan of Quarter Horses. But my second choice would be the Buckskin, but she’s slightly overpriced. And for the Welsh/Arabian, I would choose last, because Arabians are very spooky. Some better than others, but they were bred to be spooky and show off around the arena. But then again, I know some people that have really well behaved arabians. So, these are just my opinions.

*Note* — Whichever one you liked first, is probably the one you’ll want to get. Deep down inside you, you already have the answer, it just hasn’t come to your mind yet. ;)

These are just my opinions on the ponies, pick whichever you feel is best for you.

Welsh/Arab- This horse seems nice, I have to ask how old are you though. Ponies are smaller than regular horses and if your older they usually cannot carry adults for very long. Also, they said this horse is fondered. That means they cannot eat to much green grass. If you cannot watch this horse and its eating habits then i would opt. to not get it.

Buckskin Pony- This seems to be the perfect one for you! Sound, good with barrels and pole bending. It also comes with an english package, which would be perfect for what you are wanting to do.

Paint/Quarter Pony- This pony seems nice too, and very pretty. It has great qualities but the owner says it would make a good cow horse, which is not what your wanting.

If it were me, I would go for the Buckskin Pony, seems perfect for you and is beautiful. Hope I helped(:
